I have to code an accelerated driver for the AMD/National Gx1 graphics device for my final project at the university. I really dislike this hardware architecture, SoftVGA?. Also the board itself is a crap, it is a SBC with a buggy BIOS. Here are a few screenshot that show the problems with the geode fb driver, i talked to the fbdev people but seems there’s no easy solution.
